Aaron Taos gives us a new single with “Ain’t Over You”, and when I say it’s intoxicating, I mean it. This is a feel-good record about the struggles of getting over someone who you had feelings for. I love that Aaron uses an airy delivery on the hook making it feel larger and as grandiose as the production (The guitar solo is sick!). Not to mention the Hadji Gaviota verse is the perfect addition to the record as well. It’s charismatic and charming with some insightful yet light-hearted bars.
The visual is what makes this a release I’ve been coming back to. Aaron finds himself fighting his lovesickness at therapy, where Hadji is the therapist. I don’t know if the methods Hadji was using are board-certified but made for a captivating video. The shots are cinematic, and the song is stellar; Check it out below!
